In 2005, Athletics Director, Dave Grube, announced the hiring of Eric Campbell as the new golf coach at Cornerstone University.  Campbell has been the varsity golf coach at Allendale High School over the past 4 years where he has coached one all-stater and five all-conference performers.  Campbell, a resident of Grand Haven, works as a certified teaching professional as well as master club-fitter at Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck, Michigan.   

Campbell played basketball at Grand Rapids Baptist College from 1986-1988 and finished his college education at Madonna University where he earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice.  He also served as an assistant varsity basketball coach at Grace Bible College from 1999-2002.   Campbell ’s passion and desire has been to build a career in golf.  “I look forward to the challenge of coaching at the college level.  I hope to add stability to the program,” states Campbell .  “I know we have a young team with a lot of talent and hopefully we can fill in a few pieces that will enable us to make a run at winning a WHAC championship.
